Zettelfax (ZETFAX) |
||||||
The Zettelfax device (hence the name "Zetfax") transmits like all facsimile devices exclusively black and "white" pixels.
The Zetfax is a special development with regard to the transmission of brief information handwritten on "notes", such as orders in the restaurant business or request for spare parts inside a repair shop.

|
||||||
The transmitting device (the transmitter) uses a lens and photodiode system to
scan the information written on the "note" - the 38 mm wide strip of paper.
With the HT 206 model shown here, the information is written directly by hand
onto the paper strip fed from a roll. The title block width is 25 mm.
The HT 236 model enables a loose "slip" to be inserted and scanned.
The scanning width is also 25 mm here, but the paper width itself can
be much larger.
|
||||||
The electrical control and signal impulses fed to the receiving device -
the ZETFAX recorder - cause automatic start-up, recording of the image
information with the help of a write spindle and the stop of the recorder.
