Zettelfax  (ZETFAX)

The Zettelfax device (hence the name "Zetfax") transmits like all facsimile devices exclusively black and "white" pixels.
The Zetfax is a special development with regard to the transmission
of brief information handwritten on "notes", such as orders in the restaurant business or request for spare parts inside a repair shop.

The transmitting device (the transmitter) uses a lens and photodiode system to
scan the information written on the "note" - the 38 mm wide strip of paper.
With the HT 206 model shown here, the information is written directly by hand
onto the paper strip fed from a roll. The title block width is 25 mm.

The HT 236 model enables a loose "slip" to be inserted and scanned.
The scanning width is also 25 mm here, but the paper width itself can
be much larger.

The electrical control and signal impulses fed to the receiving device -
the ZETFAX recorder - cause automatic start-up, recording of the image
information with the help of a write spindle and the stop of the recorder.
