Hell-Schreiber 1929
Feld Hellschreiber 1940: Manufactured by Siemens, around 1940; the letters are transmitted in a 7 x 14 matrix. The transmission speed is 150 per minute, 2.5 characters are transmitted per second; 4 tubes type: RV12P 4000 . Power supply: accumulator 12 V / 40 Ah for 10 hours of operating time; Width x Depth x Height: 390mm x 240mm x 455mm; Weight 27kg
Hellschreiber LT 39d: Manufactured by Siemens, around 1955; Write speed: 6.1 characters/sec, 300 baud ; Width x depth x height: 320mm x 260mm x 200mm ; Weight 17kg
Hellschreiber T44
Hellschreiber GL72: The texts are transmitted as 7 x 14 matrix. The transmission speed is 300 baud, 6.1 characters per second are transmitted; Tube type: EF 80 and EL 83 ; Production from 1955; Width x Depth x Height: 432mm x 432mm x 265mm; Weight 26kg.
Hellschreiber 80, this is the military version from 1960, which was manufactured by Siemens until 1976. The texts are recorded as 9 x 7 matrix. The device shown here can read a 5-channel punched tape (the reader is on the right) and print it out as text on the paper strip. The writing speed is 5 characters per second. Production from 1967; Width x depth x height: 478mm x 504mm x 296mm; Weight 28kg.
The Siemens teleprinter T 100 is designed like a normal typewriter, meaning: there is an alpha-numeric keyboard with type levers. The text is written on paper and can at the same time be punched as a punched tape in 5 bit ASCII code. The paper tape reader enables printing -and if desired- punching a duplicate paper tape. The transmission speed is 400 characters per minute.
